5 Months, is that all?
I should be writing a long post, but well we'll see - my hands and arms are sore, it's the tendons, thats all i know, and it won't be getting checked out given the last $6.2k medical bill i generated with a sare tum. Yes you did read that right. I miss UK healthcare!
I really should have hoped on the plane with a tummy ache, that would only have been $2k for me alone.
Anyway it's another gorgeous day here, and we're in our third house now. Not that there was anything wrong with the last house, it's just that this one came highly recommended and it's a 10 minute bike ride to school and my work, so we moved. Nicer for visitors too. My parents and sister are coming in July hoorah, and they will each have their own room, probably named mum and dads room or Graces room from then on after!
This house is an old plantation manager's house, nice painted walls and high vaulted ceilings. Easy to clean 'fake' floor tiles, shinny but some sort of vinyl again rather than the real deal. I can't fill all the kitchen cupboards, there are so many, so i have everything on the shelves at the right height! Nice to have a dresser for china in the dinning room, however the plastic table and chairs we borrowed/bought from friends really looks out of place now. In saying that we all like the table so whether or not we do end up with a real one has yet to be decided.
We're all working away, with the exception of Chook who has just graduated with Honors from school. A summer of VBS' now awaits, how many can i book her into? We'll also take some time off when the family is here and do a little mini-break. Will be nice. It must be just living in the sun that deminishing that i need a holiday feeling.
Pizza must be ready by now, yum x
